As a handheld filming style is becoming increasingly popular within the horror genre, I decided to film my trailer in this style. This means that the use of a tripod won't be necessary. However, the camera I use to record doesn't have motion stability. Meaning that with handheld movements the quality blurs and the picture pixelates.
However, I have decided to use my iPad to record as the quality of recording is very good and as it is a portable handheld device the picture doesn't blur when you move whilst recording. This also gives me the opportunity to use editing equipment on the iPad itself.
